About K-Cars
Kei car (K-car) is short for Kei Jidosha, which is Japanese for "light vehicle". By regulation they must be less than 3.4 metres long and 1.48 metres wide (smaller than a Mini), have an engine less than 660cc with no more than 64 horsepower.

Importing
Canadian importation rules allow importing Japanese cars, but they have to be 15-years-old or older. But since Japanese tend to drive far less than North Americans these cars are always immaculate, and with low KMs.
