This furoshiki can be used s a wrapping cloth, as room decor, in fabric projects, etc. The weave has a textured finish. Tanabata, the Star Festival, is celebrated on July 7th in most places in Japan. This design features a traditional repeat ‘seigaiha’ wave pattern along the bottom and a couple looking at the night sky. Tanabata wishes are tied to bamboo.
